"PSE&G will begin replacing utility poles on the PSE&G and public rights of way," said Public Affairs Specialist Andrew Wesley. "This construction is part of PSE&G’s statewide initiative to enhance reliability in the boroughs of Glen Rock and Hawthorne, as well as surrounding communities."

New circuits are slated to be installed along an existing pole line along Lincoln Avenue between Warburton Avenue and Route 208 South, connecting the Jackson Road and Hawthorne stations, Wesley said.

Construction activities include tree trimming, tree removals and the installation of taller, sturdier poles, Wesley said.

Work will be done from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. weekdays with some weekend work, he said. The project is expected to be completed before the end of 2016, weather permitting, Wesley added.
